You’ve Got Big Plans for 2016 – Why Not Start with a Mommy Makeover?

What are your hopes for 2016? We wish you a year of success, happiness, and excellent health. We understand that a woman’s relationship with her body can be rocky at times. Weight fluctuations, age and especially pregnancy can wreak havoc on your body. Start the year off by learning what a Mommy Makover can do for you in 2016 and beyond. Let’s make 2016 the year you “get your body back” after baby!

What Is a Mommy Makeover?

Having a baby changes us in so many wonderful ways.  Unfortunately, the physical changes to our bodies are not always for the better. Stretch marks, breast changes, loose abdominal skin/muscles, and even changes to our private parts are often unwanted additions that accompany the birth of your wee one. Both of our surgeons at the Plastic Surgery Center of Nashville are mommies, themselves, and they both understand the body changes that come with pregnancy. We know you may be feeling self-conscious or embarrassed by your post-baby body and we’ll work with you to create a body you love.

A Mommy Makeover is a post-baby body transformation. We combine various plastic surgery procedures to restore your body and correct some of the changes that pregnancy can bring. The result is a refreshed, rejuvenated body that may look even better than it did before your first pregnancy. A Mommy Makeover is best completed after you’ve finished having children since the changes can be reversed with another pregnancy. The typical mommy makeover procedures can be performed at the same time or separately, as necessary.

What Procedures Should I Consider for My Mommy Makeover?

Pregnancy affects each body a little differently. We’ll work with you to create a customized surgical plan that targets your problem areas.

  • Stubborn Fat Deposits- Hormonal changes during pregnancy may lead to stubborn fat pockets. Liposuction can remove them for a shapelier, more sculpted post-baby body.
  • Labia Changes- Congestion during pregnancy can lead to changes in the labia, some of which can be uncomfortable. Labiaplasty can restore your labia, bringing back your confidence in the bedroom and eliminating the discomfort you may be experiencing.
  • Breast Changes- Pregnancy can cause many changes to the breasts. They may get larger, smaller, or start to sag. The nipple may also increase in size and/or elongate. Breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, and other breast surgeries can improve or restore your breasts to their pre-baby size and shape!
  • Saggy Stomach- If your post-baby belly isn’t what you remember from your pre-pregnancy days, you may need a tummy tuck. This surgery can correct loose skin, relaxed or separated abdominal muscles, and even some stretch marks (depending on the location).

Love your post-baby body! Start your year with a Mommy Makeover.
