There’s some exciting news buzzing in the medical field of Nashville. Two local doctors have been rated among America’s Best Plastic Surgeons for 2021, according to Newsweek. And to make the news even more spectacular, both offer their services at the Plastic Surgery Center of Nashville.
Award-winning plastic surgeons Dr. Mary Gingrass and Dr. Melinda Haws each earned a spot among America’s best plastic surgeons.
Purpose
Newsweek is dedicated to providing its readers with the critical information necessary to make the best possible healthcare choices for themselves and those they love. As part of that long-lasting commitment, this year, the magazine partnered with the global marketing research and customer data firm, Statista Inc., to find America’s Best Plastic Surgeons.
Methodology
Statista invited close to three thousand medical experts, including doctors, surgeons, plastic surgery clinic managers, and healthcare professionals to participate in their online survey.
Statista chose to designate four categories for the survey: Breast Augmentation, Liposuction, Facelift, and Rhinoplasty. These procedures were chosen due to the total number of surgeries per year and their market volume in the country. The operations include those with the highest expenditure totals in the U.S.
Statista asked its participants to recommend plastic surgeons in the United States who offer at least one of the four listed procedures. Additionally, Statista asked its participants to rank their peers according to multiple quality dimensions.
And the Winners Are
Newsweek’s rankings feature the top 200 plastic surgeons for Breast Augmentation and the top 150 for Facelift, Rhinoplasty, and Liposuction. A total of 387 plastic surgeons were ranked, with a few being recognized for multiple procedures.

Winners from the outstanding Plastic Surgery Center of Nashville are Dr. Haws ranked 25th in the United States, and Dr. Gingrass, 81st. Both doctors were ranked in the category of breast augmentation and liposuction.
